Playing Crossy Road is extremely easy, using just one finger! Here is a basic step-by-step guide:

Basic Controls

• Tap: Tap once on the screen to make your character hop forward one space.
• Swipe: Swipe left or right to make your character move sideways to an adjacent lane, helping you dodge obstacles or find a safe path.

Understand the Environment & Hazards

• Roads: Avoid moving cars and trucks. Observe their speed and the gaps between them before crossing.
• Rivers: You CANNOT stand on water. Jump onto floating logs or lily pads to use them as rafts to cross the river.
• Train Tracks: Always beware of trains! When you hear the warning bell and see flashing red lights, STOP and wait for the train to pass completely.
• The Eagle: If you stand still for too long, an eagle will swoop down and snatch your character away!

Quick Tips for Beginners

• Don't be greedy for coins: Survival is more important than risking your life to grab a coin.
• Look ahead: Focus your gaze on the upper part of the screen to foresee upcoming dangers.
• Keep a rhythm: Play at a steady, calm pace. Don't rush and jump continuously.
